It was over before it started
If it even was after all
I thought I’ll learn to fly
I had to learn how to fall

I fell and it hurt like hell
Yet I was grateful I didn’t die
And was proud I risked it
That I dared to try

They say there’re no failures just lessons
And this sure was a lesson learned
It’s better to have heart broken
Than forever let it yearn
